Sec. 109. (a) Section 101 of the Legislative Branch Appropriations Act, 1993 (2 U.S.C. 95b) is amended by striking “upon approval of the Committee on Appropriations of the House of Representatives” each place it appears and inserting the following: “effective upon the expiration of the 21-day period (or such alternative period that may be imposed by the Committee on Appropriations of the House of Representatives) which begins on the date such Committee has been notified of the transfer”.(b) The amendment made by subsection (a) shall apply with respect to fiscal year 2003 and each succeeding fiscal year.
