Sec. 421. Subsection (b) of section 33 of the Federal Fire Prevention and Control Act of 1974 (15 U.S.C. 2229) is amended by adding at the end the following new paragraph (12):“(12) Eligible grantee on behalf of alaska native villages.—The Alaska Village Initiatives, a non-profit organization incorporated in the State of Alaska, shall be considered an eligible grantee for purposes of receiving assistance under this section on behalf of Alaska Native villages.”.
