Sec. 8094. Amounts appropriated in titles II and IV are hereby reduced by $504,500,000 to reflect savings attributable to improvements in the management of professional support services, surveys and analysis, and contracted engineering and technical support, and to limit excessive growth in the procurement of advisory and assistance services, to be distributed as follows:(1) From “Operation and Maintenance, Army”, $48,500,000;(2) From “Operation and Maintenance, Navy”, $84,400,000;(3) From “Operation and Maintenance, Marine Corps”, $4,300,000;(4) From “Operation and Maintenance, Air Force”, $196,300,000;(5) From “Operation and Maintenance, Defense-Wide”, $91,000,000;(6) From “Research, Development, Test and Evaluation, Navy”, $40,000,000; and(7) From “Research, Development, Test and Evaluation, Defense-Wide”, $40,000,000:Provided, That these reductions shall be applied proportionally to each budget activity, activity group and subactivity group and each program, project and activity within each appropriations account.117 STAT. 1095
