SEC. 2502. VETERANS’ ADMINISTRATION DRUG AND ALCOHOL TREATMENT PROGRAMS. (a) Authorization of Appropriations.—There are authorized to be appropriated to the Veterans’ Administration, in addition to any other amounts that may be authorized to be appropriated to the Veterans’ Administration for the purpose described in subsection (b), $15,000,000 for each of the fiscal years 1989 through 1991. (b) Use of Funds.—Any amounts appropriated pursuant to subsection (a) may be expended only for the purpose of providing care and services under chapter 17 of title 38, United States Code, to eligible veterans with alcohol or drug dependence or abuse disabilities.
