General Transfer Authority(transfer of funds)Sec. 1002. Section 8005 of the Department of Defense Appropriations Act, 2005 (Public Law 108–287; 118 Stat. 969), is amended by striking “$3,500,000,000” and inserting in lieu thereof “$6,185,000,000”: Provided, That the amount made available by the transfer of funds in or pursuant to this section is designated as an emergency requirement pursuant to section 402 of the conference report to accompany S. Con. Res. 95 (108th Congress).
