Title III of division C of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2005 (Public Law 108–447; 118 Stat. 2951) is amended in the matter under the heading “Nuclear Waste Disposal”—(1) by inserting “to be derived from the Nuclear Waste Fund and” after “$346,000,000,”; and(2) in the second proviso, by striking “to conduct scientific oversight responsibilities and participate in licensing activities pursuant to the Act” and inserting “to participate in licensing activities and other appropriate activities pursuant to that Act”.
