DEPARTMENT OF LABOR Employment and Training Administration Training and Employment Services For an additional amount for “Training and Employment Services” to award national emergency grants under section 173 of the Workforce Investment Act of 1998 related to the consequences of hurricanes in the Gulf of Mexico in calendar year 2005, $125,000,000, to remain available until June 30, 2006: Provided, That the amount provided under this heading is designated as an emergency requirement pursuant to section 402 of H. Con. Res. 95 (109th Congress), the concurrent resolution on the budget for fiscal year 2006: Provided further, That these sums may be used to replace grant funds previously obligated to the impacted areas.119 STAT. 2768 State Unemployment Insurance and Employment Service Operations Funds provided under this heading in Public Law 108–447 which have been allocated to the States of Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi for activities authorized by title III of the Social Security Act, as amended, shall remain available for obligation by such States through September 30, 2006, except that funds used for automation by such States shall remain available through September 30, 2008.
