SEC. 1165. PRE-RELEASE AND POST-RELEASE PROGRAMS FOR JUVENILE OFFENDERS. Section 1801(b) of the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 (42 U.S.C. 3796ee(b)) is amended—(1) in paragraph (15) by striking “or” at the end; (2) in paragraph (16) by striking the period at the end and inserting “; or”; and (3) by adding at the end the following: “(17) establishing, improving, and coordinating pre-release and post-release systems and programs to facilitate the successful reentry of juvenile offenders from State or local custody in the community.”.
