SEC. 1195. STUDY AND REPORT ON CORRELATION BETWEEN SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AT DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SHELTERS. The Secretary of Health and Human Services shall carry out a study on the correlation between a perpetrator’s drug and alcohol abuse and the reported incidence of domestic violence at domestic violence shelters. The study shall cover fiscal years 2006 through 2008. Not later than February 2009, the Secretary shall submit to Congress a report on the results of the study.
