INCLUSION OF PACKET BASED TELEPHONY IN DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE TELECOMMUNICATIONS BENEFIT.

SEC. 375. INCLUSION OF PACKET BASED TELEPHONY IN DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE TELECOMMUNICATIONS BENEFIT.(a) Inclusion in Benefit.—Subsection (a) of section 344 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2004 (Public Law 108–136; 117 Stat. 1448) is amended by inserting “packet based telephony service,” after “prepaid phone cards,”.(b) Inclusion of Internet Telephony in Deployment of Additional Telephone Equipment.—Subsection (e) of such section is amended—(1) by inserting “or Internet service” after “additional telephones”;(2) by inserting “or packet based telephony” after “to facilitate telephone”; and(3) by inserting “or Internet access” after “installation of telephones”.(c) Conforming Amendments.—Such section is further amended—(1) in the heading for subsection (a), by striking “Prepaid Phone Cards” and inserting “Benefit”; and(2) in the heading for subsection (e), by inserting “or Internet Access” after “Telephone Equipment”.
