SEC. 135. PROCUREMENT OF C–130J/KC–130J AIRCRAFT AFTER FISCAL YEAR 2005. Any C–130J/KC–130J aircraft procured after fiscal year 2005 (including C–130J/KC–130J aircraft procured through a multiyear contract continuing in force from a fiscal year before fiscal year 2006) shall be procured through a contract under part 15 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), relating to acquisition of items by negotiated contract (48 CFR 15.000 et seq.), rather than through a contract under part 12 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, relating to acquisition of commercial items (48 CFR 12.000 et seq.).
