SEC. 510. AUTHORITY FOR DESIGNATION OF A GENERAL/FLAG OFFICER POSITION ON THE JOINT STAFF TO BE HELD BY RESERVE COMPONENT GENERAL OR FLAG OFFICER ON ACTIVE DUTY. Section 526(b)(2)(A) of title 10, United States Code, is amended by inserting “, and a general and flag officer position on the Joint Staff,” after “combatant commands”.
