SEC. 2805. INAPPLICABILITY TO CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTERS OF RESTRICTION ON AUTHORITY TO ACQUIRE OR CONSTRUCT ANCILLARY SUPPORTING FACILITIES.(a) Exception for Child Development Centers.—Section 2881(b) of title 10, United States Code, is amended by inserting “(other than a child development center)” after “ancillary supporting facility”.(b) Child Development Center Defined.—Section 2871 of such title is amended—(1) in paragraph (1), by inserting “child development centers,” after “day care centers,”; and(2) by inserting after paragraph (1) the following new paragraph:“(2) The term ‘child development center’ includes a facility, and the utilities to support such facility, the function of which is to support the daily care of children aged six weeks old through five years old for full-day, part-day, and hourly service.”.(c) Rule of Construction.—Nothing in the amendment made by subsection (a) may be construed to alter any law and regulation applicable to the operation of a child development center, as defined in section 2871(2) of title 10, United States Code.
