SEC. 1405. RURAL FIREFIGHTERS AND EMERGENCY PERSONNEL GRANTS.(a) Termination of Fiscal Year 2007 Funding.—Subsection (c) of section 6405 of the Farm Security and Rural Investment Act of 2002 (7 U.S.C. 2655) is amended by striking “2007” and inserting “2006”.(b) Cancellation of Unobligated Prior-Year Funds.—The authority to obligate funds previously made available under such section for a fiscal year and unobligated as of October 1, 2006, is hereby cancelled effective on that date.
