SEC. 7128. ALLOCATION TO STATES. (a) In General.—(1) Section 1404(a)(3) of the Victims of Crime Act of 1984 (42 U.S.C. 10603(a)(3)) is amended by striking out “$100,000” and inserting “the base amount” in lieu thereof. (b) Conforming Amendment.—Section 1404(a)(4) of the Victims of Crime Act of 1984 (42 U.S.C. 10603(a)(4)) is amended by striking out “$100,000” and inserting “the base amount” in lieu thereof. (c) Definition.—Section 1404(a) of the Victims of Crime Act of 1984 (42 U.S.C. 10603(a)) is amended by adding at the end the following: “(5) As used in this subsection, the term “base amount” means— “(A) $150,000 for fiscal years 1989 through 1991; and “(B) $200,000 thereafter through fiscal year 1994.”.
