Sec. 559. (a) Rescission.—From the unexpended balances of the United States Secret Service “Salaries and Expenses” account specifically identified in the Joint Explanatory Statement (House Report 109–241) accompanying the Department of Homeland Security Act, 2006 (Public Law 109–90) for National Special Security Events, $2,500,000 are rescinded.(b) Additional Appropriation.—For necessary expenses of the United States Secret Service “Protection, Administration, and 120 STAT. 1394 Training”, there is appropriated an additional $2,500,000, to remain available until expended for National Special Security Events.
