SEC. 608. EXTENSION OF PILOT PROGRAM ON CONTRIBUTIONS TO THRIFT SAVINGS PLAN FOR INITIAL ENLISTEES IN THE ARMY.(a) Extension.—Subsection (a) of section 606 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2006 (Public Law 109–163; 119 Stat. 3287; 37 U.S.C. 211 note) is amended by striking “During fiscal year 2006” and inserting “During the period beginning on January 6, 2006, and ending on December 31, 2008”.(b) Report Date.—Subsection (d)(1) of such section is amended by striking “February 1, 2007” and inserting “February 1, 2008”.
