SEC. 524. TITLE 10 DEFINITION OF ACTIVE GUARD AND RESERVE DUTY. Section 101 of title 10, United States Code, is amended—(1) by adding at the end of subsection (b) the following new paragraph:“(16) The term ‘Active Guard and Reserve’ means a member of a reserve component who is on active duty pursuant to section 12301(d) of this title or, if a member of the Army National Guard or Air National Guard, is on full-time National Guard duty pursuant to section 502(f) of title 32, and who is performing Active Guard and Reserve duty.”; and(2) in paragraph (6)(A) of subsection (d)—(A) by striking “or full-time National Guard duty” after “means active duty”; and(B) by striking “, pursuant to an order to active duty or full-time National Guard duty” and inserting “pursuant to an order to full-time National Guard duty,”.
