SEC. 209. PENSION COUNSELING AND INFORMATION PROGRAMS. Section 215 of the Older Americans Act of 1965 (42 U.S.C. 3020e–1) is amended—(1) in subsection (e)(1)(J), by striking “and low income retirees” and inserting “, low-income retirees, and older individuals with limited English proficiency”;120 STAT. 2538(2) in subsection (f), by striking paragraph (2) and inserting the following:“(2) The ability of the entity to perform effective outreach to affected populations, particularly populations with limited English proficiency and other populations that are identified as in need of special outreach.”; and(3) in subsection (h)(2), by inserting “(including individuals with limited English proficiency)” after “individuals”.
