SEC. 1235. PARTS FOR USE IN THE MANUFACTURE OF CERTAIN HIGH-PERFORMANCE LOUDSPEAKERS. Subchapter II of chapter 99 is amended by inserting in numerical sequence the following new heading: 120 STAT. 3101 “9902.23.28Parts (provided for in subheading 8518.90.80) certified by the importer as for use exclusively in the manufacture of loudspeakers which (when not mounted in their enclosures) meet a performance standard of not more than 1.5 dB for the average level of 3 or more octave bands when tested in a reverberant chamberFreeNo changeNo changeOn or before 12/31/2009 ”.
