SEC. 104. DISASTER PREPAREDNESS ASSISTANCE. (a) Maximum Amount of State Disaster Assistance Planning Grants.—Section 201(d) is amended by striking out “$25,000” and inserting in lieu thereof “$50,000”. (b) Technical Amendments.—Section 201 is amended— (1) in subsection (a) by striking out “(including the Defense Civil Preparedness Agency)”; and 102 STAT. 4691 (2) in subsection (d) by inserting “including evaluations of natural hazards and development of the programs and actions required to mitigate such hazards;” after “plans,”.
