SEC. 7301. ADMINISTRATIVE AUTHORITY. Section 112 is amended by adding at the end the following:“(e) Administrative Authorities.—The Administrator may enter into grants and cooperative agreements with Federal agencies, State and local government agencies, other public entities, private organizations, and other persons—“(1) to conduct research into transportation service and infrastructure assurance; and“(2) to carry out other research activities of the Administration.”.119 STAT. 1915
