TURN-KEY SELECTION PROCEDURES FOR DEFENSE AGENCIES

SEC. 2301. TURN-KEY SELECTION PROCEDURES FOR DEFENSE AGENCIES Section 2862 of title 10, United States Code, is amended— (1) in subsection (a)(1)— (A) by striking out “The Secretaries of the military departments, with the approval of the Secretary of Defense,” and inserting in lieu thereof “The Secretary concerned”; and (B) by adding at the end the following new sentence: “Such procedures may be used by the Secretary of a military department only with the approval of the Secretary of Defense.”; and 101 STAT. 1215 (2) in subsection (b), by inserting after “The” the following: “Secretary of Defense, with respect to any Defense Agency, or the”.
