SEC. 803. ANNUAL ADJUSTMENT OF INCOME ELIGIBILITY STANDARDS. (a) Date of Annual Adjustment.— Section 5(c) of the Food Stamp Act of 1977 (7 U.S.C. 2014(c)) is amended by inserting “shall be adjusted each October 1 and” after “eligibility” the first place it appears. (b) Effective Date.— The amendment made by this section shall become effective on July 1, 1988.
