Drug Enforcement Administration salaries and expenses For necessary expenses of the Drug Enforcement Administration, including not to exceed $70,000 to meet unforeseen emergencies of a confidential character pursuant to 28 U.S.C. 530C; and expenses for conducting drug education and training programs, including travel and related expenses for participants in such programs and the distribution of items of token value that promote the goals of such programs, $1,855,569,000; of which not to exceed $75,000,000 shall remain available until expended; and of which not to exceed $100,000 shall be available for official reception and representation expenses. For an additional amount for “Drug Enforcement Administration, Salaries and Expenses”, $2,000,000 for a communications intercept initiative in Afghanistan: Provided, That the amount provided by this paragraph is designated as described in section 5 (in the matter preceding division A of this consolidated Act).
