Utility Tunnel Repairs.—

Sec. 1003. Utility Tunnel Repairs.—(a) From the unexpended balances available under the heading “Architect of the Capitol, Capitol Power Plant” in chapter 6 of title V of the U.S. Troop Readiness, Veterans’ Care, Katrina Recovery, and Iraq Accountability Appropriations Act, 2007 (Public Law 110–28; 111 Stat. 167), $876,000 are hereby rescinded.(b) In addition to the amounts otherwise made available in this Act under the heading “Capitol Police, Salaries”, there is appropriated $876,000 for expenses under such heading resulting from any utility tunnel repairs and asbestos abatement activities carried out by the Architect of the Capitol: Provided, That the amount provided by this section is designated as described in section 5 (in the matter preceding division A of this consolidated Act).
