SEC. 7412. MCINTIRE-STENNIS COOPERATIVE FORESTRY ACT.(a) In General.—Section 2 of Public Law 87–788 (commonly known as the “McIntire-Stennis Cooperative Forestry Act”) (16 U.S.C. 582a–1) is amended by inserting “and 1890 Institutions (as defined in section 2 of the Agricultural Research, Extension, and Education Reform Act of 1998 (7 U.S.C. 7601)),” before “and (b)”.(b) Effective Date.—The amendment made by subsection (a) takes effect on October 1, 2008.122 STAT. 1256
