SEC. 10301. NATIONAL ORGANIC CERTIFICATION COST-SHARE PROGRAM. Section 10606 of the Farm Security and Rural Investment Act of 2002 (7 U.S.C. 6523) is amended—(1) in subsection (a), by striking “$5,000,000 for fiscal year 2002” and inserting “$22,000,000 for fiscal year 2008”;(2) in subsection (b)(2), by striking “$500” and inserting “$750”; and(3) by adding at the end the following:“(c) Reporting.—Not later than March 1 of each year, the Secretary shall submit to the Committee on Agriculture of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry of the Senate a report that describes the requests by, disbursements to, and expenditures for each State under the 122 STAT. 1347 program during the current and previous fiscal year, including the number of producers and handlers served by the program in the previous fiscal year.”.
