NATIONAL ORGANIC PROGRAM.

SEC. 10303. NATIONAL ORGANIC PROGRAM. Section 2123 of the Organic Foods Production Act of 1990 (7 U.S.C. 6522) is amended—(1) by striking “There are” and inserting the following:“(a) In General.—There are”; and(2) by adding at the end the following:“(b) National Organic Program.—Notwithstanding any other provision of law, in order to carry out activities under the national organic program established under this title, there are authorized to be appropriated—“(1) $5,000,000 for fiscal year 2008;“(2) $6,500,000 for fiscal year 2009;“(3) $8,000,000 for fiscal year 2010;“(4) $9,500,000 for fiscal year 2011;“(5) $11,000,000 for fiscal year 2012; and“(6) in addition to those amounts, such additional sums as are necessary for fiscal year 2009 and each fiscal year thereafter.”.
