serbiaSec. 1409. Of the funds made available under the heading “Assistance for Eastern Europe and the Baltic States” by title III of the Department of State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs Appropriations Act, 2008 (division J of Public Law 110–161), an amount equivalent to the unpaid costs of damage to the United States Embassy in Belgrade, Serbia, as estimated by the Secretary of State, resulting from the February 21, 2008 attack on such Embassy, shall be withheld from obligation for assistance for the central government of Serbia if the Secretary of State reports to the Committees on Appropriations that the Government of Serbia has failed to provide full compensation to the Department of State for damages to the United States Embassy resulting from the February 21, 2008 attack on such embassy. Section 8002 of this Act shall not apply to this section.
