SEC. 108. AMENDMENTS FOR EMERGENCY PEN REGISTERS AND TRAP AND TRACE DEVICES. Section 403 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978 (50 U.S.C. 1843) is amended—(1) in subsection (a)(2), by striking “48 hours” and inserting “7 days”; and(2) in subsection (c)(1)(C), by striking “48 hours” and inserting “7 days”.
