SEC. 1122. ASSUMPTION BY THE DIRECTOR OF CERTAIN OTHER HUD RESPONSIBILITIES.(a) In General.—Part 2 of subtitle A of the Federal Housing Enterprises Financial Safety and Soundness Act of 1992 (12 U.S.C. 4541 et seq.) is amended—(1) by striking “Secretary” each place that term appears and inserting “Director” in each of sections 1323, 1326, 1327, 1328, and 1336; and(2) by striking sections 1338 and 1349 (12 U.S.C. 4562 note and 4589).(b) Retention of Fair Housing Responsibilities.—Section 1325 of the Federal Housing Enterprises Financial Safety and Soundness Act of 1992 (12 U.S.C. 4545) is amended in the matter preceding paragraph (1), by inserting “of Housing and Urban Development” after “The Secretary”.
