SEC. 705. SENSE OF CONGRESS. It is the sense of Congress that—122 STAT. 3349(1) addressing the under-representation of women and minorities in the higher education professoriate will require consistent inter-institutional cooperation, data gathering, analysis, and self-evaluation; and(2) institutions eligible for funds under part A of title VII of the Higher Education Act of 1965 (20 U.S.C. 1134 et seq.) should be encouraged to consider the feasibility and potential design of an inter-institution monitoring organization addressing under-representation by race, ethnicity, and gender in postsecondary faculty and administrators.
