EFFECTIVE DATES.

SEC. 1003. EFFECTIVE DATES.(a) In General.—Except as provided in subsection (b) and as otherwise provided in this title, this title and the amendments made by this title shall become effective on the date of enactment of this Act.(b) Effect Notwithstanding Regulations.—Paragraphs (1), (2), (3), (4), (6), (7), and (8) of section 128(e) and section 140(c) of the Truth in Lending Act, as added by this title, shall become effective on the earlier of the date on which regulations issued under section 1002 become effective or 18 months after the date of enactment of this Act.122 STAT. 3479
