SEC. 505. ELIGIBILITY OF RESERVE OFFICERS TO SERVE ON BOARDS OF INQUIRY FOR SEPARATION OF REGULAR OFFICERS FOR SUBSTANDARD PERFORMANCE AND OTHER REASONS.(a) Eligibility.—Section 1187 of title 10, United States Code, is amended—(1) in subsection (a)—(A) by striking paragraph (2); and(B) by redesignating paragraphs (3) and (4) as paragraphs (2) and (3), respectively; and(2) in subsection (b), by striking “on active duty” in the matter preceding paragraph (1).(b) Conforming Amendment.—The heading of subsection (a) of such section is amended by striking “Active Duty Officers” and inserting “In General”.
