SEC. 409. SCIENCE AND EXPLORATION. It is the sense of Congress that NASA’s scientific and human exploration activities are synergistic; science enables exploration and human exploration enables science. The Congress encourages 122 STAT. 4791 the Administrator to coordinate, where practical, NASA’s science and exploration activities with the goal of maximizing the success of human exploration initiatives and furthering our understanding of the Universe that we explore.
