SEC. 1608. RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OF AVIATION TRANSPORTATION SECURITY TECHNOLOGY. Section 137(a) of the Aviation and Transportation Security Act (49 U.S.C. 44912 note; 115 Stat. 637) is amended—(1) by striking “2002 through 2006” and inserting “2006 through 2011”;(2) by striking “aviation” and inserting “transportation”; and(3) by striking “2002 and 2003” and inserting “2006 through 2011”.
