Office of Inspector General salaries and expenses For necessary expenses of the Office of Inspector General in carrying out the provisions of the Inspector General Act of 1978, as amended, $20,673,000; including not to exceed $10,000 to meet unforeseen emergencies of a confidential character, to be expended under the direction of the Attorney General, and to be accounted for solely on his certificate; and for the acquisition, lease, maintenance and operation of motor vehicles without regard to the general purchase price limitation.
