Sec. 307. The pay for the positions described in section 308(b) of the Legislative Branch Appropriations Act, 1988, as contained in section 101(i) of Public Law 100–202— (1) shall be subject to any applicable adjustment during fiscal year 1990 under, or by reference to any applicable adjustment during fiscal year 1990 under, subchapter I of chapter 53 of title 5, United States Code; and (2) with respect to the position of Assistant Architect of the Capitol, shall be subject to any recommendation of the President that, pursuant to section 225 of the Federal Salary Act of 1967 (2 U.S.C. 351 et seq.), takes effect during fiscal year 1990.
