Sec. 318. Section 3210(a)(6) of title 39, United States Code, is amended— 103 STAT. 1068 (1) in subparagraph (A)(i) by striking out “is mailed fewer” and inserting in lieu thereof “is postmarked fewer”; (2) in subparagraph (A)(ii)(II) by striking out “is mailed fewer” and inserting in lieu thereof “is postmarked fewer”; (3) in subparagraph (c) by striking out “is mailed fewer” and inserting in lieu thereof “is postmarked fewer”; and (4) by adding at the end thereof the following new subparagraph: “(F) For purposes of subparagraphs (A) and (C) if mail matter is of a type which is not customarily postmarked, the date on which such matter would have been postmarked if it were of a type customarily postmarked shall apply.”.
