SEC. 1705. CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER STATUS. Section 194(c) (42 U.S.C. 12651e(c)) is amended—(1) by striking paragraphs (1) and (2) and inserting the following:“(1) In general.—There shall be in the Corporation a Chief Financial Officer, who shall be appointed by the Chief Executive Officer pursuant to subsections (a) and (b) of section 195.”; and(2) by redesignating paragraph (3) as paragraph (2).
