Office of Justice Programs justice assistance To fight the war on drugs, $308,821,000, to remain available until expended; of which $300,000,000 is for the Edward Byrne Memorial State and Local Law Enforcement Assistance Programs for State and local agencies to improve efforts in street-level and community-based drug law enforcement efforts; and of which $8,821,000 is for the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Program in order to improve programs for the prevention, intervention and treatment of juvenile crime, especially where it relates to youth gangs and drugs.
