SEC. 106. COPYRIGHT OFFICE FEES. Section 708(a) is amended—(1) in paragraph (8), by striking “and” after the semicolon;(2) in paragraph (9), by striking the period and inserting a semicolon;(3) by inserting after paragraph (9) the following:“(10) on filing a statement of account based on secondary transmissions of primary transmissions pursuant to section 119 or 122; and“(11) on filing a statement of account based on secondary transmissions of primary transmissions pursuant to section 111.”; and(4) by adding at the end the following new sentence: “Fees established under paragraphs (10) and (11) shall be reasonable and may not exceed one-half of the cost necessary to cover reasonable expenses incurred by the Copyright Office for the 124 STAT. 1245 collection and administration of the statements of account and any royalty fees deposited with such statements.”.
