SEC. 404. TITLE AND APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER OF THE INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY. Section 103G of the National Security Act of 1947 (50 U.S.C. 403–3g) is amended—(1) in subsection (a)—(A) by inserting “of the Intelligence Community” after “Chief Information Officer”; and(B) by striking “President,” and all that follows and inserting “President.”;(2) by striking subsection (b) and redesignating subsections (c) and (d) as subsections (b) and (c), respectively;(3) in subsection (b) (as so redesignated), by inserting “of the Intelligence Community” after “Chief Information Officer”; and(4) in subsection (c) (as so redesignated), by inserting “of the Intelligence Community” before “may not”.
