SEC. 229. AUTHORITIES OF SECRETARY TO READJUST TERMS, CONDITIONS, RENTALS, AND ROYALTIES. Section 8(b) of the Geothermal Steam Act of 1970 (30 U.S.C. 1006) is amended in the second sentence by striking “period, and in no event” and all that follows through the end of the sentence and inserting “period”.
