SEC. 3165. SNAKE RIVER PROJECT, WASHINGTON AND IDAHO. (a) In General.—The fish and wildlife compensation plan for the Lower Snake River, Washington and Idaho, as authorized by section 102 of the Water Resources Development Act of 1976 (90 Stat. 2921), is amended to authorize the Secretary to conduct studies and implement aquatic and riparian ecosystem restorations and improvements specifically for fisheries and wildlife. (b) Authorization of Appropriations.—There is authorized to be appropriated $5,000,000 to carry out this section.
