DEFINITIONS.
SEC. 5002. [42 U.S.C. 16531 nt ] DEFINITIONS.
In this title:
(1) Department.—The term “Department” means the Department of Energy.
(2) Institution of higher education.—The term “institution of higher education” has the meaning given the term in section 101(a) of the Higher Education Act of 1965 (20 U.S.C. 1001(a)).
(3) National laboratory.—The term “National Laboratory” has the meaning given the term in section 2 of the Energy Policy Act of 2005 (42 U.S.C. 15801).
(4) Secretary.—The term “Secretary” means the Secretary of Energy.
