AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS.

SEC. 503. AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS. (a) Fiscal Year 2011.— (1) In general.—There are authorized to be appropriated to the Foundation $7,424,400,000 for fiscal year 2011. (2) Specific allocations.—Of the amount authorized by paragraph (1)— (A) $5,974,782,000 shall be made available to carry research and related activities; (B) $937,850,000 shall be made available for education and human resources; (C) $164,744,000 shall be made available for major research equipment and facilities construction; (D) $327,503,000 shall be made available for agency operations and award management; (E) $4,803,000 shall be made available for the Office of the National Science Board; and (F) $14,718,000 shall be made available for the Office of Inspector General. (b) Fiscal Year 2012.— (1) In general.—There are authorized to be appropriated to the Foundation $7,800,000,000 for fiscal year 2012. (2) Specific allocations.—Of the amount authorized by paragraph (1)— (A) $6,234,281,000 shall be made available to carry research and related activities; (B) $978,959,000 shall be made available for education and human resources; (C) $225,544,000 shall be made available for major research equipment and facilities construction; (D) $341,676,000 shall be made available for agency operations and award management; (E) $4,808,000 shall be made available for the Office of the National Science Board; and (F) $14,732,000 shall be made available for the Office of Inspector General. (c) Fiscal Year 2013.— (1) In general.—There are authorized to be appropriated to the Foundation $8,300,000,000 for fiscal year 2013. (2) Specific allocations.—Of the amount authorized by paragraph (1)— (A) $6,637,849,000 shall be made available to carry research and related activities; (B) $1,041,762,000 shall be made available for education and human resources; (C) $236,764,000 shall be made available for major research equipment and facilities construction; (D) $363,670,000 shall be made available for agency operations and award management; (E) $4,906,000 shall be made available for the Office of the National Science Board; and (F) $15,049,000 shall be made available for the Office of Inspector General.
