SEC. 31311. EXPANDING CHOICES OF REMEDY AVAILABLE TO MANUFACTURERS OF REPLACEMENT EQUIPMENT. Section 30120 of title 49, United States Code, is amended— (1) in subsection (a)(1), by amending subparagraph (B) to read as follows: “(B) if replacement equipment, by repairing the equipment, replacing the equipment with identical or reasonably equivalent equipment, or by refunding the purchase price.” ; (2) in the heading of subsection (i), by adding “of New Vehicles or Equipment” at the end; and (3) in the heading of subsection (j), by striking “replaced” and inserting “replacement”.
