SEC. 202. COAST GUARD AUTHORITY TO OPERATE AND MAINTAIN COAST GUARD ASSETS. Section 93 of title 14, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following: “(e) Operation and Maintenance of Coast Guard Assets and Facilities. All authority, including programmatic budget authority, for the operation and maintenance of Coast Guard vessels, aircraft, systems, aids to navigation, infrastructure, and other assets or facilities shall be allocated to and vested in the Coast Guard and the department in which the Coast Guard is operating.” .
